Not all homes are the same.  There is also so many different packages and sizes. Ford sells vehicles as low as $12,000 and as high as over $50,000.  It all depends on the size of vehicle and how it is equipped.  It is the same with homes. The size you chose and how you have it configured.  There are tons of options that you can add.  This gives you the customer optimum flexibility in getting the feature you want on your new mobile home.

Value of doing business with a stable company:

      There has to be a dollar value for being able to be here tommorrow and the next day after that.  If all dealers made wise decisions, hired good people and were financially stable then this would not be an issue.  But when over 50% go out of business in an area you have to ask yourself if you should not pay a little more for peace of mind and security.  Don't think a factory warranty keeps you safe.  There are factories that go out of business.  What is the probability that you can get service from a company that is bankrupt?  Is it possible that some mobile home prices are too cheap?

Value of doing business with a honest company:

     I am certainly stunned by some of the grossly inaccurate information (politically correct language for lying) that salespeople give to customers.  One popular sales tactic is "low balling".  You go and look at mobile homes at a particular dealership and before leaving you ask a price on a specific model.  You are happy with the price, but want to shop other mobile home dealers.  You shop all over town, wear yourself out and nobody has a price that is close.  So you go back to the person who gave you the low figure.  Now you find he does not work at the dealership anymore and they can't honor what he quoted.  You have just been "low balled".  Why does "low balling" work, because people like to be told what they want to hear and often after they have worn themselves out they are more likely to be closed by a cunning salesperson.  

     Hint: If the person does not get your name written down before you leave and makes note of what he told you ther is a good chance that he has no intention of honoring the price.  Good salespeople take notes because they intend to keep their word.
